Gymnastics
Welcome to the University of Liverpool Gymnastics club
Our club is open to all students over 18 across Liverpool with any level of ability, so whether you’re trying the sport for the first time or have trained your whole life, we have coaching and competition to suit you.
Competitive
The team travels across the country for those who wish to compete, such as to the Loughborough, Nottingham and Birmingham Opens. We also take part in the University Gymnastics Cup, winning points from each competition to take the crown at the end of the year. We hope to do the same in the annual Christie Cup and national British Universities and Colleges Sports (BUCS) championships.
Training times
We train twice a week at Star Spirit.
Day | Time | Level |
---|---|---|
Friday | 7-9pm | Beginner |
Friday | 8-9pm | Intermediate/Advanced |
Social events
We boast an active social side, creating an exciting range of socials to suit all preferences. We attend every AU night alongside other sports teams, and cannot wait to return to the clubs for a new year of crazy fancy dress! We have previously held a winter ball, awards dinner, Christmas meal, and a trip to Spring City trampoline park, and can’t wait to hear your suggestions for this year.
