Canoeing
Welcome to the University of Liverpool canoe club
Liverpool University Canoe Club (LUCC) is perhaps the wildest and most awed sports club in the University. Whether you are a seasoned kayaker or a complete beginner you are welcome in our club.
Competitive
Our canoe polo team competes in the British Universities and Colleges Sports (BUCS) league against other Universities in the North West.
Training times
We train at the Sports and Fitness Centre on Wednesdays, 6-8pm.
Social sport
Our activities vary from pool sessions to day trips along white water rivers. Whatever your ability, we have something for you. We meet on Thursdays at the Sports and Fitness Centre from 8-10pm where we practice and catch up with friends.
Social events
We have a wide variety of socials and everyone is welcome. Whether it’s a carnage-filled Athletic Union (AU) night, daft games and banter on trips, or chilled-out film nights and snacks at the kayaker’s houses, we have something for you.
