The Liverpool University Amateur Boxing Club is a large and experienced club that trains at a professional boxing gym, producing award-winning boxers. Whether you're looking to compete or improve your fitness, this boxing club is for you.
Competitive
The club offers many opportunities for those wishing to compete. The rich boxing culture within Liverpool provides many charity and white-collar bouts in which members can enter. Furthermore, our British Universities and Colleges Sports team competes at a National level against Universities throughout Britain.
Training at Salisbury ABC prepares our members for the highest level of competition with 17 elite national champions training within our gym. Training at the Salisbury ABC costs £2.50.

Social sport
Liverpool University Amateur Boxing Club (LUABC) is open to all level boxers, male or female. Our mixture of workouts and acceptance of beginners ensures that you will get the most out of the sessions. All members are welcome to our training sessions above.
Social events
As well as taking part in the monthly Athletic Union (AU) nights, the LUABC hosts a range of social events for our members so that they can make friends, bring the club closer together and support our athletes in their competitive bouts.

The Athletic Union
The Athletic Union (AU) is a student lead union founded in 1884. The AU consists of competitive sports clubs representing the University in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS). The AU also provides opportunities for social sports with over 132 teams across three sports.
Being an AU member is a great way to stay active, develop management and leadership skills and meet people.

The initial cost of the AU membership is £60 and this will allow you to join one club. If you wish to join multiple clubs, the cost for each club is £24 thereafter.
