Badminton
Welcome to the University of Liverpool Badminton club
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved with badminton during your time at university. Our club welcomes players of all abilities and from all backgrounds, offering the flexibility to play at whatever level suits you, whether that be competitively or socially.
Competitive
We have three men's teams and two women’s teams that represent the University in weekly British Universities and Colleges Sports fixtures. The club also competes at Liverpool Varsity and the Christie Championships, both of which we are the reigning champions.
For our competing teams, all new and existing club members must attend trials.
Social sport
Our club is open to players of all abilities. If you’re not interested in playing for our teams, then you are welcome to come along and join in at our campus sessions. These sessions are great for meeting new people and having fun whilst exercising. All equipment is provided and we run tournaments throughout the year for those with a competitive streak.
Social events
We believe socials are an essential aspect of the University of Liverpool Badminton Club. They help to integrate members regardless of what side of the club they are from and can be enjoyed as a drinker or a non-drinker. The club holds regular social events throughout the year, including Christmas and end-of-season meals, White t-Shirt night and much more.
