Fitness Consultants
Sport Liverpool is looking for enthusiastic people to work within a vibrant, busy, diverse environment. Applicants must be highly self-motivated with a can-do-attitude, be able to make positive contributions to our professional team ethic and spirit. Individuals must be hard-working and passionate about delivering excellent customer service. In addition, they must be able to provide expert advice and guidance to individuals on how to achieve their fitness and wellness goals, leading to a healthier lifestyle. In return, we provide comprehensive in-service training and personal development opportunities
- Candidates must hold a Level 2 fitness qualification
- Have experience in fitness testing, programme design and inductions
- Provide on-going instructional services to customers in order to ensure safe and effective use of the Gym equipment
- Hours will vary week-to-week
- Full induction, staff training and uniform will be provided

Student Roles:
Halls Sport Activator - Volunteer role
The Activator role will include:
• Promote and attend Halls sports activities and tournaments.
• Promote and advertise halls sports tournaments and campus sport to students in your halls of residence via word of mouth, poster, social media etc. Making sure you are the voice and point of contact for your halls.
• Recruit students from your halls to take part in halls sports tournaments and/or campus sport.
• Recruit Captain for particular events (e.g. Football, Futsal, Dodgeball, TT, Rounders etc).
• Attend as many hall’s sports sessions and tournaments as possible (both participating and helping to run the tournaments)
• Supporting the running of any internal hall’s events (e.g.TT League)
• Gain feedback from students in your halls about additional sports they would like to be included in the programme.
• Promote and advertise Campus Sport leagues and the Turn Up & Play programme to students in your halls.
• Attend Halls Rep meetings/ Activator training in order to further knowledge of delivery and share ideas.
Halls sport activators will be given free sports kit and access to sports facilities for sessions
free of charge. Support for any Coaching/Referee/Activator Courses suitable to the position.
