Athletic Union memberships

Join a sports club today and become part of Team Sport Liverpool.

We offer over 50 different sports clubs to join during your time at the University of Liverpool. Represent your club in the British Universities and Colleges sport leagues (BUCS). Benefits of an Athletic Union membership are:

  • Representation within the Sport Liverpool department through the elected student AU executive committee
  • Elite personal accident insurance cover (PDF)
  • Access to physiotherapy treatment at our Sports injuries clinic*
  • Priority access to AU social events
  • Financial support at representative level
  • Subsidised support to coaching on official courses
  • Eligibility for colours and blues award.

 

*Once members join their Club they will be able to access this clinic and see one of our physios who are based at Student Health. To access this service you must book in person at Student Health. To prove you are a member you must take the email confirmation you will receive once you join a club. You will not be able to book if you do not have this. The clinic is open from 5.15pm to 8pm on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in term time.
