Summer at Sport Liverpool

Look at what's happening at Sport Liverpool throughout the summer break to keep you active.

Outdoor workouts

Take your training outside! Sport Liverpool will run free outdoor sessions at the container gym to help you achieve your health and fitness goals. The sessions, run by the gym team will include a range of equipment including kettlebells, barbells, ropes and slam balls.

If you’re looking for a low-impact workout, why not join us every Wednesday at 1.00pm for a 30-minute Campus Walk. This is a great way to increase your step count for the day, get some Vitamin D and meet new people too!

Summer Classes

With over 30 classes a week during the Summer, we have something to suit everyone!

If you are a Premium Member of The Sports & Fitness Centre, all classes are included in your membership so reserve your place here. If you have a standard membership or don’t have a membership, you can pay as you go for classes. Only £4.10 per class so take advantage and try as many as you can!

Give it a go!

Boditrax - Located in the gym, our body analysis machine assesses your body and very quickly delivers 14 different measurements, such as your ideal weight, your BMI and your metabolic age, as well as your fat and muscle mass. It’s completely free to use to everyone, and you can download the Boditrax app to keep track of your results! Come along anytime and ask a member of the gym team for any help.

Sports Massage Therapy Clinic Looking to de-stress, ease muscle aches or treat a sporting injury? Why not book in for a sports massage therapy session with one of our qualified therapists! Free activities

Campus Walks

Join us every Wednesdays at 1:00pm outside the Sports & Fitness Centre where the gym team will be waiting to meet you for your 30-minute walk! Walking is one of the easiest ways to become healthier, lose weight, increase activity levels and get your daily dose of Vitamin D! There are many benefits including increasing your heart health, reducing stress & anxiety & building stamina! Everyone is welcome to come along; no membership is required and no booking is required

Outdoor Container Classes

Bring your workout outdoors and try a variety of equipment to help you hit the highest intensity in your workouts. High intensity interval training is a fantastic way of improving your conditioning and burning a lot of calories in a short time. You’ll do short, hard, intense intervals followed by some low intensity or rest to recover. 

Challenge your fitness with battle ropes, prowler pushes, slam balls and much more

Run for All

Led by trained running leaders from Liverpool LMS Run For All is a weekly organised running group where you can come along and run with like-minded people, meet new friends, keep active and just have fun. Follow Liverpool LMS for weekly updates on routes and meet up locations.
