Professor Louise Ackers - Speaking at Two High Profile Events

Professor Louise Ackers will be speaking at two major events concerned with the development of the European Research Area. The first of these is the Irish Presidency Conference on ‘Researcher Careers and Mobility’ on Tuesday May 14th/15th. Louise will address the topic of ‘Open Recruitment’ in science labour markets.

The second is the European Science Foundation (ESF) conference ‘DEVELOPING Research Careers In And Beyond Europe’ to be held in Oslo, 21 to 23 May.  Drawing on research generated as part of the POCARIM project,  Louise will respond to the European Alliance on Research Career Development (EARCD) policy statements on ‘Developing Research Careers In and Beyond Europe’ and the Science Policy Briefing on ‘New Concepts of Mobility.’
