Class of 2023: Celebrating your graduation

The University of Liverpool undergraduate Class of 2023 will be celebrating their achievements from Monday 17 – Friday 21 July at a number of graduation ceremonies held at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall with ticketed graduation receptions taking place at a marquee on Abercromby Square.

In particular, School of Law and Social student ceremonies and receptions will be taking place on Monday 17th July.

Law (LLB Single Honours only)

  • Graduation Ceremony: 10am
  • Graduation Reception: 11am

Law (Excluding LLB Single Honours)

  • Graduation Ceremony: 1pm
  • Graduation Reception: 11am

Sociology, Social Policy and Criminology

  • Graduation Ceremony: 4pm
  • Graduation Reception: 5.30pm

If you are a graduating student and looking to commemorate your special day by taking pictures with friends and family across the University of Liverpool campus, we recommend:

1. School of Law and Social Justice Building (The School of Law and Social Justice Building, Chatham Street, Liverpool, L69 7ZR)

The School of Law and Social Justice Building is the home of Law, Sociology, Social Policy and Criminology at the University of Liverpool. Commemorate your time with us with pictures in front of our state-of-the art-building.

2. School of Law and Social Justice 'Selfie Zone' (The School of Law and Social Justice Building, Chatham Street, Liverpool, L69 7ZR)

For graduation day, we're creating a dedicated SLSJ 'Selfie Zone' in the School of Law and Social Justice Building Events Space. The room will have various decorative backdrops for you and your family to take the best celebratory photos.

3. The Quadrangle (Victoria Building, 150 Brownlow Hill, Liverpool L3 5RF)

Located behind the Victoria Gallery & Museum, the Quadrangle is a hidden gem of the University’s North Campus. The garden is surrounded by iconic red brick buildings which make the perfect backdrop for your graduation snaps.

4. Abercromby Square (Abercromby Square, Liverpool L69 7WY)

Throughout graduation week, Abercromby Square will be a bustling destination for graduates and their loved ones and will be home to a marquee for graduation receptions.
