Prescription Only Medications

Prescriptions area available from this practice. You may obtain Prescription Only Medications Category V (POM-Vs) from your veterinary surgeon. You may also ask for a prescription and obtain the medication from another veterinary surgeon or pharmacy.

Your veterinary surgeon may prescribe POM-Vs only for animals under their care.

A prescription may not be appropriate if your pet is an in-patient/immediate treatment is required.

Clients will be notified on request of the price of any medication.

A charge of £15.00 is made for each individual prescription/item.

A prescription checkup will required every 3 months for repeat prescriptions at a cost of £33.00.

Please allow 48 hours for written and repeat prescriptions.
