Work Package 4: Lithium-ion Electrode Interfaces in Conventional Liquid Electrolytes

Objectives:
To investigate candidate Li-ion anode and cathode material interfaces in a standard conventional liquid electrolyte. The conventional electrolyte will be 1M LiPF6 in ethylene carbonate: dimethyl carbonate 1:1 w/w.
To characterise candidate electrode material interfaces with a variety of ex situ and in situ techniques
To develop materials with more stable interfaces that demonstrate a greater cycle life.
