Objectives:
To investigate the lithium metal electrolyte interface. A better understanding of the SEI is crucial for the use of lithium metal as anode material in the construction of ultra-high capacity batteries.
To characterise the lithium metal interface with a variety of ex situ and in situ techniques
To nderstand how the SEI changes with cycling and under certain storage conditions.
