The University of Liverpool's Liverpool Shared Research Facilities (LIV-SRF), operating across the Faculty of Science and Engineering and the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, are hosting our inaugural Showcase on Monday 25th March 2024. Including an opening address from the VC and a keynote talk from UKRI.
This one-day event will be an opportunity to hear from all of our SRFs on their world-class expertise and capabilities, as well as more detailed case studies from users who have elevated their research through access to SRFs. There will be an extended exhibition session offering ample opportunity to interact directly with SRF staff, as well as discussion on applications for facility technologies, and information on the LIV-SRF Voucher Scheme.
Shared Research Facilities have been operating across the University of Liverpool for over a decade, but we have now unified our 25 Shared Research Facilities (SRFs) into a single university-wide entity in LIV-SRF. Our SRFs now span across two Faculties, offering flexible access to high-end equipment and expertise, available to both internal and external users including NHS Trusts, SMEs, industry and other HE institutions. Each SRF can provide academic and technical knowledge to support cutting-edge research programmes.
This event is open to the University of Liverpool staff and students and external attendees.
