Science Jamboree

The Science Jamboree brings together staff and students of the University with Cubs, Beavers, Rainbows, and Brownies from across Cheshire and Merseyside for a day of activities in the University’s Central Teaching Laboratories. The activities lead to the young people earning some of their ‘science-related’ activity badges including astronomer, digital citizen and experiment.

The 2023 Science Jamboree will take place on 23 November.

Bookings for the 2024 event have now closed. We had enough applications to fill the event three times over!

The cost to attendees is £5 per registered Beaver / Rainbow and £7 per registered Cub / Brownie.

At one point, I looked around and all Beavers and adults were lying down looking up at the ‘sky’!
