Beth qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2008.  She graduated from Harper Adams University College in 2009 with a First Class Honours degree in Veterinary Nursing and Practice Management.  Beth worked in general practice and then spent 18 months working as a Research Assistant in Veterinary Nursing at Harper Adams University College.  She moved to the Royal Veterinary College, working as a Clinical Investigation Nurse on a variety of clinical trials.  Beth joined Rutland House Referrals as a Dermatology nurse, before lecturing in Animal Management and Veterinary Nursing.  She has been an editorial board member of The Veterinary Nurse since its introduction in 2010, and guest lectures at Harper Adams University on the Dip AVN course.  Beth has presented at BSAVA and BVNA Congress, and has published in a range of journals.  Beth's main interests are vaccination schedules and the use of serological testing in vaccination programmes.  Beth also has an interest in veterinary nurses completing their own research and considers this to be important for the profession to develop.  Beth said "I believe that the data collected by SAVSNET will help shape both the veterinary and veterinary nursing profession and I am really excited to be a part of this network". Welcome Bethaney!
