Near real-time antibacterial prescription surveillance
PhD student David Singleton is in Liverpool today for the North West Zoonoses Group Annual Conference.
He is presenting his work on small animal near real-time antibacterial prescription surveillance. David aims to develop a real-time surveillance tool for antibacterial prescribing.
Why?
Because resistance is an increasing global treat and there is pressure to prescribe responsibly.
David's PhD is jointly funded by the VMD, University of Liverpool and SAVSNET.
