SAVSNET at the Association for Veterinary Informatics Symposium
Professor Alan Radford was lucky enough to be invited to discuss SAVSNET at the recent meeting of the Association of Veterinary Informatics (AVI) in Kansas, USA. AVI is currently primarily made up of USA researchers, and mostly people working in corporate practice. Other important topics discussed at the meeting were around use of big health data, and methods to facilitate clinical coding by practitioners. It was really exciting to share experience across "the pond" and it was clear there were opportunities going forward to learn from each other.
