Matthew completed his first degree at Newcastle University, followed by a Bachelor of Veterinary Science at University of Liverpool. During both degrees Matthew was intensely involved in multiple research projects which is a significant driver of his interest in clinical research. After graduating from the University of Liverpool in 2022, Matthew spent one and a half years in general practice in North Wales where he began his post-graduate certificate in advanced veterinary practice. Matthew joined the Small Animal Teaching Hospital in 2024 to pursue specialisation and continue clinical research.
