Luke graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2021. He spent the following two and half years at a primary care and emergency hospital in Lancashire where he developed his interest in small animal medicine. Luke joined the small animal teaching hospital in 2024 with the goal of further pursuing a career in medicine, teaching and research.
