Laura Marques da Costa

Laura qualified from the Veterinary Medicine Faculty at Lisbon University in 2021. Since that time she developed an interest in surgery. She spent one year in general practice where she was exposed to a wide variety of surgical cases then came to the UK in 2022 with the aim of increasing her professional skills. Laura completed a rotating internship and one surgical internship in referral hospitals then joined the SATH as a surgical intern in July 2024 with the goal of further developing her surgical skills and pursuing specialisation in surgery.
