Isabel Amores-Fuster

Isabel qualified from the Veterinary School of Zaragoza University (Spain) in June 2006. After spending one and a half years working in the emergency service of a hospital in Madrid, she moved to England to work as a first opinion vet in a referral practice in Manchester. During this time she developed a special interest in small animal medicine but especially in Oncology.
In April 2009 she started a one year rotatory internship at Cambridge University where she pursued her interest in Oncology. In July 2010 she moved to Liverpool to start her residency in Oncology. In March 2013 she was promoted to Lecturer in Oncology.
In April 2017 she qualified as a European Specialist in Veterinary Oncology and took up the post of Senior Lecturer in November 2017.
Clinical Interests
Isabel is interested in all aspects of clinical oncology.
Teaching Responsibilities
Isabel is involved mainly in student teaching during their rotation in oncology and occasional lectures to 4th and 5th year students.
Research Interests
Isabel is involved in a study about lymph node cytology and has collaborated with another referral hospital doing a study about melanoma vaccine.
