Francesca Wickstead

Francesca qualified from Liverpool University School of Veterinary Science in 2018. She spent a few years in private small animal practice in the Midlands and Cheshire, including in first opinion and emergency and critical care roles. In March 2022 she joined the Small Animal Teqaching Hospital as an anaesthesia intern. Her main interests lie in perioperative analgesia, especially local anaesthetic techniques, and critical care. In previous roles she has enjoyed teaching & supporting new graduates and she continues to enjoy teaching undergraduate veterinary students.
