A world-renowned veterinary hospital

The facilities at the Small Animal Teaching Hospital include state-of-the-art equipment for medicine and surgery along with comfortable, fully-equipped patient wards and recovery areas. The hospital was the first in the UK to have on-site Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) for advanced diagnostic imaging. To date the service has provided imaging for over 6000 patients, making the imaging team one of the most experienced in the UK in these specialised techniques. The Small Animal Teaching Hospital is accredited under the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standards Scheme.

The hospital also has its own Radiotherapy Suite providing treatment for cancers, and dedicated operating theatres for minimally-invasive procedures.
