Show Your Appreciation and Say Thank You

Postdocs contribute to research, teaching and supporting our postgraduate researchers and play a big part in making the University of Liverpool the amazing place that it is.

PIs, Supervisors, postdoc peers and colleagues across the University are invited to share your thanks and appreciation by sending one of our virtual thank you cards.

You can either send the thank you in an email or include it in a Tweet and tag your colleague.

3. Paste the URL into the 'File Name' box in the explorer window and click 'Open'

Saying thank you to postdocs on an ongoing basis

Here are some examples of public appreciation and recognition:

• Celebrating achievements during team meetings and other academic fora 
• Crediting their contributions, especially in front of senior management
• Publicising their accomplishments via Faculty/School/Institute newsletters/bulletins and other platforms such as the Researcher Blog, etc.
• Sharing their successes on social media - on Twitter, please use #LovePostdocs and tag @LivResearcher and @UoL_RSA.
