Introduction to Applying LC-MS in Untargeted Metabolomics

This 3-day practical based course will introduce attendees to applying LC-MS in untargeted metabolomics.

You will gain hands-on experience in the preparation of samples for analysis of the metabolome, sample analysing using LC-MS, processing and analysing data. The course is designed to develop your knowledge, skills and experience in small group sessions and activities so that you gain the confidence to apply this innovative approach in your own research projects.

The course is led by Professor Warwick Dunn and Dr Cate Winder who have both been applying metabolomics in the clinical and biological sciences for over 20 years and have extensive experience in training scientists to apply metabolomics in their own research.

Course Date: 22-24 July 2024

Schedule outlining course programme and activities

The training will be delivered using a blend of presentations, laboratory sessions, hands-on computer workshops and group activities. On the final day of the course there will be a Q&A with a panel of experts providing you with the opportunity to ask questions about your own research.
