Sun holds out for our summer graduates

The good weather held out as celebrations commenced at the philharmonic hall last Wednesday at the University of Liverpool’s summer graduation ceremony.  Along with their fellow Master’s  and undergraduate physics compatriots, Quasar Lee Devlin and former Opac fellow Emilia Cruz were finally awarded their hard earned degrees. Lee’s doctoral thesis was focused on the better understanding electron accelerators whilst Emilia’s concentrated on beam dynamics of potential future LHC upgrades. As the early stages of their careers draw a close, we hope their time at Liverpool and Cockcroft will stand them in good stead for further successes in their lives.

CONGRATULATIONS, Drs. Lee and Emilia !
