This month QUASAR has welcomed its latest recruit, Yelong Wei. Yelong joins the group at the University of Liverpool from Shanghai, China and will continue Aimierding Aimidula’s work on the ‘Development of a compact, fibre-based electron accelerator’, building on the published simulation results achieved to date using CST and developing this on site at the Cockcroft Institute with both dielectric and terahertz studies.
