Our QUASAR Group is proud to unveil a captivating new film that takes audiences on a journey through its pioneering research and groundbreaking innovations. The short film highlights the team’s work in beam instrumentation, sustainable accelerators, and transformative applications across medicine, engineering, and beyond.

Founded by Professor Carsten P Welsch back in 2007, the QUASAR Group has been redefining the limits of discovery science for nearly two decades.

"This film is a celebration of the incredible talent and dedication within the QUASAR Group," said Professor Welsch. "For almost 20 years, we have been at the forefront of discovery, breaking new ground in accelerator science and its applications. I hope this film inspires others to explore the transformative potential of our work – or to join our group."

From working on frontier projects like CERN’s Large Hadron Collider to developing next generation medical technologies for imaging and cancer treatment, the QUASAR Group has driven global advancements in science and technology. The film provides a glimpse into these achievements, showcasing how collaborations with world-class facilities such as CERN and Daresbury Laboratory are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
