I am a Senior Lecturer in Health Services Research with a psychology background in the Department of Public Health, Policy and Systems.
My work focuses on optimising and ensuring equity in health and social care services. This involves examining care delivery, costs, quality, organisation, and impacts on individuals and groups, as well as developing and testing new interventions and devices.
A key focus of my research is on long-term health conditions and the associated use of urgent and emergency care services.
I use various research methods, including qualitative, quantitative, and economic approaches, often combining them.
