Application deadlines

Applications for September 2025 entry are now open.

The application process for entry January 2025 and September 2025 is now open.  We advise students to apply as early as possible before the start of their degree. Programmes where the University receives a high number of applications may close during November/December so it’s advisable to submit applications as early as possible, this is particularly the case for the University's Management School, School of Psychology, and Department of Computer Science.

The University of Liverpool Management School, School of Medicine, Department of Psychology, School of Engineering and Department of Computer Science welcome applications that fulfil our admissions criteria in order to select a balanced student cohort. As students from different countries tend to apply at different points in the application period, applications from some countries may close earlier in the year.

The latest application deadline for September 2025 intake for applicants who require a visa to study in the UK is 12th July 2025.

The latest application deadline for September 2025 intake for Home applicants and those who do not require a visa to study in the UK is 31st August 2025.

The application deadline for Engineering programmes starting in January 2025 is 17 November 2024. The application deadline for Allied Health Professions and Nursing programmes starting in January 2025 is 30 November 2024. This is for all applicants, regardless of visa requirements.

Please note that some programmes have an earlier application deadline or may close early for applications from certain regions due to the number of applications received or offers made.

Applications may close earlier if programmes are full.
