Postdoctoral careers and development
Once you graduate from your postgraduate research degree, you can still access tailored careers support through our Careers and Employability service. If you're an international student, our International Advice and Guidance Team can advise on working in the UK after your studies and related visas.
Prosper
You can access Prosper for free, structured career development designed specifically for postdocs. Opportunities include coaching, workshops, webinars and a buddy scheme designed to help postdocs realise the next step in their career journey. You can also access online resources including Prosper portal so you can manage your personal and professional development at your own pace.
University of Liverpool Research Fellowships
At the University of Liverpool, we offer 5-year fellowships for postdocs interested in continuing their research career. Successful applicants with receive a generous start-up package and the scope to agree other start-up requirements. The University will act as a sponsor for any successful candidate who doesn't have the right to work in the UK.
