Research Overview

One line of research examines what people believe about emotions and how people regulate their emotions to attain their goals, and whether this is influenced by individual and contextual factors. A second line of research investigates the impact of brief emotion regulation interventions on health-related outcomes over time. A third line of research is concerned with protective factors (e.g., emotion regulation strategies, nature exposure) influencing mental health in various populations.
