Katie Bristow is a Medical Anthropologist and Research Fellow in the Institute of Psychology, Health and Society at the University of Liverpool. She originally trained as a nurse and midwife and has national and international expertise both as a practitioner and academic in the social determinants of health and access to health care. She has a particular interest in the utility of social theory in applied health research.
