About

I have been working as a Research Administrator since November 2017, where I was hired as part of the NIHR Global Heath Research Group on Stillbirth Prevention and Management in Sub-Saharan Africa at the University of Manchester. Following our teams' move to the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine in 2020, I was involved as a Research Administrator in securing funding for the NIHR Global Health Unit on the Prevention and Management of Stillbirths and Neonatal Deaths in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.

My responsibilities as a Research Administrator included ensuring the research team in the UK, the 6 partner countries of the Lugina Africa Midwives Research Network (LAMRN), and our partners in India and Pakistan, were all supported as effectively as possible to allow them to research and implement real change as part of both programmes.

I have now embarked on the next step of my career at the University of Liverpool as a Project Coordinator across PHIRST LiLaC and SPHR LiLaC. In this role, I provide high level administrative and coordination support to underpin the efficient and effective delivery of the PHIRST and SPHR research programmes within LiLaC.
