About
Prior to my transition to higher education, for 14 years I worked mainly within critical care, gaining significant clinical and management experience, For the past 20 years I have worked within education, teaching across all levels both within undergraduate and postgraduate nursing and allied health professionals. I have been programme lead and/or module lead for various modules, such as high dependency, clinical skills and advanced practice. As an advanced life support instructor I have the opportunity to support and teach health professionals outside of the university environment.
I have a particular interest in clinical skills and simulation and whilst being Simulation Lead in a previous university, developed simulated placements to large cohorts utilising dynamic and innovative methods and technology.
I am also a panel member for the NMC.
