About
I am a clinical academic with research interests in applied clinical rehabilitation, biomechanics and control of human movement. Originally trained as a clinical physiotherapist, I completed my PhD at Keele University and have gone on to further develop technical skills in advanced assessment and personalised treatment planning in patients with disordered control using 3D movement analysis and musculoskeletal modelling.
I am currently a Lecturer and Researcher at the University of Liverpool with a number of ongoing projects related to understanding human movement and assistive technology in health. I am a committee member for the Clinical Movement Analysis Society of the UK and Ireland (CMAS). I am always interested in potential collaborations and supporting PhD students or people wishing to undertake further research.
If you would like to work with me please contact me on f.philp@liverpool.ac.uk.
