Research Overview

My research interests are within areas of learning disability and autism. In particular parents' and young people's experiences of accessing services, their expectations and outcomes. With my colleagues in clinical services we are also setting up a program of research to look at service user, professional's and experts by experience roles in Care (Education) Treatment Reviews, and their understanding of the Dynamic Support Database.

Historically, pre-Clinical training, my research experience was in the development of motivation and cognition in infants and children with Down Syndrome, and relative to parent-infant interaction.
