About

I am a lecturer (Research lead for Year 2) on the Doctorate of Clinical Psychology programme and Communications and Engagement lead for the Primary Care and Mental Health department. My research interests are primarily in looking at inequalities in the mental health of ethnic minorities and how these could be improved. I am also interested in global mental health.

I completed my PhD on social identity and paranoia in ethnic minority communities at the University of Liverpool and then worked at the University of Manchester as a Research Associate.

I would be pleased to hear from potential PhD students interested in research in the following areas:
- Mental health in ethnic minorities and displaced
- Global mental health
- Social identity and psychosis
