About

I am a research assistant within the Department of Health Data Science here at The University of Liverpool. I am interested in the development and validation of clinical prediction models within Maternal and Mental Health.
I currently contribute to two ongoing projects.

IPPACT study - Research that aims to develop a clinically useful prognostic tool for identifying those at the highest risk of developing psychosis.

OPTIONS study - An intervention development and feasibility study to predict, and provide choices for avoiding, emergency caesarean in nulliparous women.

Whilst working full time researching, I am working towards my PhD part time. My PhD aims to develop and validate a prognostic tool to predict the risk of emergency caesarean sections in nulliparous women. The tool can be used as an app or website for midwives and doctors to use with women in their first ongoing pregnancy.
