Liverpool Autism Hub
The University of Liverpool Autism Hub was founded in July 2023 by a team of researchers and postgraduate research students with an interest in autism. It is an initiative which aims to engage with the autism community and generate community-led research. It has a growing membership of autistic people, parents/ carers and support organisations within the Liverpool City Region. The A.C.T. project will draws upon these links to recruit an advisory panel, for questionnaire distribution and to promote the A.C.T. Good participatory practise derived from this project will be used as the basis for future projects conducted by the University of Liverpool Autism Hub. It will be guided by the model of ‘autism research through meaningful participation’.
