Speak Up: Young Adults' Perceptions of the Police's Capacity to Protect and Support Citizens
Start date: January 2025 / End date: April 2025
Ethics Application Reference: 14890
We are looking for participants who are between 18 and 26 years old, living in the UK and who can fluently speak and read English to complete an audio-only online interview on their perceptions of the police’s capacity to support and protect citizens.
This will take approximately 30-60 minutes of your time, and your participation would be greatly appreciated. All of the interviews will be fully anonymised upon completion of the audio recordings.
The research team anticipates no perceived risks from participating in the current study. However, you will be asked to answer questions concerning:
- Treatment of victims by the police
- Physical assault on police officers while on duty
- Police’s handling on the recent protests in the UK
If you feel that you match the participation requirements, and wish to participate, please send an email to P.Morlat@liverpool.ac.uk to organise a time and day.
