On Friday 19 July, we celebrated the graduation of Psychology's Class of 2024 at the University of Liverpool.
Students were awarded their degrees by the Dean of Psychology, Professor Jo Harrold, at a Graduation ceremony held at Liverpool’s Metropolitan Cathedral.
Graduate Beth Witham was chosen to speak on behalf of the class of 2024, after being nominated by staff from the Department.
Speaking at a Graduation Reception, which was held after the ceremony at Mountford Hall, Beth spoke about Graduating and representing her year.
She said: "I'm very proud of everyone. That's the main thing - there's an incredible sense of pride for all my friends."
Beth continued: "Delivering my speech was an honour. To be nominated by Dr Warren Donnellan and Professor Gayle Brewer, who are two people I really respect and admire, it's the greatest compliment I could ever receive. I'm so honoured."
Students continued their celebrations with their family and friends at the Mountford Hall reception, which featured a live band and photograph opportunities.
The reception closed with the Department of Psychology awards, which celebrated the hard work and dedication of students throughout their studies.
