Students applying to study at the Department of Psychology took part in an Applicant Discovery Day on Saturday 24 February.
Applicants were welcomed to the department by current staff and students, who were available to answer questions about the course, studying at the University and student life.
Examples of Department research was also available for applicants to read, along with information about the facilities and equipment available at the Eleanor Rathbone Building, which is the home of Psychology on the University of Liverpool campus.

The day featured two sample lectures delivered by Department staff members Dr Warren Donnellan and Dr Alexis Makin, which took place in the Eleanor Rathbone Theatre.
The lectures featured information about what it is like to study psychology at the University of Liverpool, as well as an example of a lecture delivered as part of one of the psychology course modules.
Applicants were able to take part in a VR activity as part of the lab tour
Following lunch, applicants were also able to take a tour of the labs in the Eleanor Rathbone Building.
Visitors were able to view facilities such as the Bar Lab and the Appetite Labs and take part in a Virtual Reality (VR) activity as part of the tour.
