Staff from the Department of Psychology welcomed guests from Unilever to the Brain and Behaviour Laboratory

Guests from Unilever visited the Department of Psychology this week to hear about the latest successes from the Unilever-Psychology Brain and Behaviour collaboration, which is now in its 12th year.

Alan Palmer (Unilever Personal Care Chief R&D Officer) and Sam Samaras (Beauty & Wellbeing and Personal Care R&D Head of Science and Technology) enjoyed a lab tour, showcasing the exciting neuroscience research capability in the department.

The visit was hosted by long-term collaborators, Dr Carl Roberts and Dr Nick Fallon.

University of Liverpool Psychology alumni Dr Jess Henderson reported the collaborations recent impact in the domain of sensory neuroscience.

Staff members Dr John Tyson-Carr and Dr Joy Leng presented exciting new capabilities to investigate links between human microbiome and wellbeing.
