The Department of Psychology welcomed new and returning students to campus for Welcome Week, as the 23/24 academic year began.
New students attended a number of events during Welcome Week, including departmental talks, where they could find out more about their course and meet key support staff at the University.
They were greeted at the Eleanor Rathbone Building by returning students, called Student Helpers, who provided guidance and signposted them to events.
New and returning students also took part in social mixers, where they could meet with peers on their course.
As part of Welcome Week across campus, students were also provided with lots of information about the support available to them at the University and the Guild.
Dr Jasmine Warren was one of the Psychology staff members to welcome students during a Departmental Talk.
Student Experience Administrator Amber Hughes, who helps to facilate Welcome Week for the Department of Psychology said: "Welcome Week is a very important event in the academic calendar, and one of the most vibrant and exciting points in the year.
