Department of Psychology Graduate Jaden Moonsammy was chosen to speak on behalf of the class of 2023, at a Graduation ceremony held on Thursday 20 July at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.
He used his speech to pay tribute to staff, friends and family.
Jaden said: "We would not be here today without the hard work of our academic and support staff across all of the subjects represented in this room today. To you on behalf of everyone here I would like to say thank you for everything you do."
He continued: "Lastly, to my Mum, Dad and now taller than me little brother, your constant support has been immeasurable. Whether it was celebrating a good mark or a phone call in the midst of a bad day, you’ve always been there to listen to me and offered guidance in times of uncertainty. I will never be able to say thank you enough.
“My fellow graduands, I hope you are proud of what we are here to celebrate today. This is only the beginning."
