About
I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Politics at the University of Liverpool, which I joined in 2017. Prior to this, I was a Research Fellow at CAGE – Centre for Competitive Advantage in the Global Economy at the Department of Economics at the University of Warwick. I studied Political Science at the Università degli Studi di Pavia (UNIPV) and received a PhD in Government from the Department of Government at the University of Essex in 2013.
I use the tools of quantitative political economy to study counterterrorist regulation, terrorism and public opinion, racial bias in law enforcement, and the effects of policies.
