Report summary
Azadi Kenya, a survivor-led anti-trafficking organisation, collaborated with the University of Liverpool to assess the effectiveness of survivor empowerment and engagement in international policies on human trafficking and modern slavery. Through interviews and focus group discussions with key stakeholders, the research aimed to highlight promising practices, explore diverse perspectives, and identify barriers to meaningful survivor inclusion. This report presents a methodology, key findings, and recommendations aimed at enhancing survivor engagement in global anti-trafficking efforts.
