Dr Andrew S. Crines (Associate Professor of British Politics)
Andrew's research focuses on the rhetorical and oratorical strategies of leading political actors across the UK. Themes of interest include: political leadership, ideologies, identity, competition, anti-establishment rhetoric.
Professor Bruce Gibson (Professor of Latin)
Bruce's research interests include Latin literature in the Roman Empire, classical traditions, and ancient historiography (Polybius and Tacitus).
Dr David Jeffery (Lecturer in Politics)
David's research focuses on political campaigning, the role of localised identities and their electoral salience, electoral patterns, and British politics more broadly. David is also quantitatively trained.
