Identity Entrepreneurs: To What Extent does a Polarizing Approach to Group Based Appeals Explain the Electoral Success of the Radical Right in Europe.
Biography
I am a first year PhD student looking at the extent to which, and in which instances, polarizing approaches to different groups of the electorate translates into electoral success for the European radical-right. I have been at the University of Liverpool since 2020, having attained a BA in History and Politics and an MA in Political Science and International Relations.
Research Interests
While my main area of focus is the group-based appeals of radical-right parties in Europe, I am also interested in populist politics more broadly, voter behaviour, and political polarization.
